• August 2023: Singtel, in collaboration with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), initiated the construction of a cutting-edge data center in Singapore. Dubbed DC Tuas, this eight-story facility, upon its scheduled completion in 2025, will boast an impressive 58 MW of IT load capacity spread over 120,000 sq. ft. The data center will seamlessly integrate with Singtel's cable landing station (CLS).
• March 2023: Megawide Construction Corporation signed an agreement with a Singapore-based group to build a data center worth USD 300 million to support the pivoting of digital infrastructure in the country. The project involves the long-term development of a 69 MW colocation data center, resulting in opportunities for the vendors in the market.

• May 2024: ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) broadened its presence in Vietnam by acquiring a data center in Ho Chi Minh City and preparing for a second facility. Teaming up with VNG Corporation, a local technology firm, STT GDC unveiled plans for the "development, construction, and operation of data center projects" in Ho Chi Minh City. The first of these projects, situated in Tan Thuan, 1.5 km away, is slated for completion by the first half of 2026, boasting a capacity of up to 60 MW.

• June 2024: Scala, a prominent Brazilian data center operator, initiated construction on a new facility in Fortaleza. Situated at Av. Aldy Mentor, 371 - Manoel Dias Branco, in the state of Ceara, the campus is set to deliver an initial capacity of 7.2 MW. Employing Scala's innovative FastDeploy model, the first building, spanning 9,700 sq. m (104,410 sq. ft), will be followed by a second building covering 10,000 sq. m (107,640 sq. ft) and boasting a capacity of 13.5 MW.
