- August 2022: Koch invested around USD 30 million in the Kansas nitrogen plant to increase UAN production by 35,000 tons per year to meet growing UAN demand across western Kansas and eastern Colorado.

- December 2022: The Government of Ontario finalized amendments to On-Site and Excess Soil Regulation (Excess Soil Regulation) and the Rules for Soil Management and Excess Soil Quality Standards (Soil Rules). These amendments, which came into effect on January 1, 2023, include removing the reuse planning requirements for some projects and removing the limit on soil storage piles.
- May 2022: Koppert India and UPL India signed an agreement wherein Koppert will produce a biofertilizer for UPL, which UPL will offer under its new global business unit, NPP, to its growers in India. The biofertilizer, with the brand name Copio, helps improve soil health, leading to better plant establishment and improved overall output. This commercial relationship is the continuity of the long-term collaboration between both companies, already consolidated in Japan and Spain and primed to grow across new geographies.
In June 2022, K+S signed a letter of intent with the Swedish company CinisFertilizer to cooperate with the synthetic production of potassium sulfate (SOP). This implies that K+S is to supply CinisFertilizer with its entire potassium chloride (MOP) requirements, and in return purchase up to 600,000 metric ton of potassium sulfate (SOP) per year from Cinis.
In March 2021, AnaamInternational Holding Group acquired Al TakamulNational Agriculture Company by signing of Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding ('MOU') and acquiring 100% of the shares of the company. This will help in the integration with agricultural lands owned by AnaamGroup and this acquisition adds value to the group and its shareholders.
In October 2021, ICL's polysulfate has been approved for use in organic farming. The EU and USDA certified both the standard and granular grades as organic fertilizers.
- July 2022: A new granular inoculant called LALFIX® START SPHERICAL Granule was launched, which combines Bacillus velezensis, a plant growth-promoting microbe, with two distinct rhizobium strains. This powerful and well-tested PGPM boosts phosphorus solubilization and improves root mass.
In January 2020, Symborg launched BlueN to improve agricultural productivity by using an atmospheric nitrogen-fixing bacterium, Methylobacterium symbioticum.
In November 2018, ASB Greenworld launched Bag-in-Box, an environmentally-friendly packaging solution for liquid organic fertilizer, which reduces the logistics volume, waste, and carbon footprint.
September 2022: Corteva Agriscience agreed to acquire Symborg Inc. to strengthen its global presence with a strong distribution network.
- May 2023: The Moroccan government allocated 16.9 billion dirhams (€1.54 billion) to the Moroccan Interprofessional Olive Federation for irrigation investments. Officials report that while 37.5 percent of the nation's olive groves, covering 450,000 hectares, are irrigated, these groves contribute to 50 to 60 percent of the country's total olive production.
- January 2022: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) confirmed a new USD 6.2 million loan to the Campagnie General des Industries Alimentaires(COGIA), one of the country's major food manufacturers, to help strengthen the olive farming sector in Tunisia. These funds will be used to develop irrigation projects and foster production, bottling, and exports.
- January 2024: Data from Mexico's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reveals that the nation has solidified its status as the globe's second-largest producer and exporter of lemons and limes. With a commanding 20.5% share of the worldwide market, Mexico exported 716,163 tons of these citrus fruits, raking in a revenue of USD 838 million.
- October 2022: SiCar Farms, one of Mexico's largest lime suppliers, has acquired 4,000 acres in the southeast region of Mexico. The company is constructing a state-of-the-art packinghouse facility on this land. This strategic investment aims to meet consumer demand consistently throughout the year, with a particular focus on the winter season.
- May 2024: CASE IH has launched the new Axial-Flow Series 160 Automation harvesters in Brazil. The company has invested BRL 100 million in its Sorocaba plant to become the global production hub for these harvesters. The new harvesters feature advanced automation technology and are designed for simplicity and productivity.
- August 2023: Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd introduced four new OJA tractor platforms in Brazil, aiming to improve agricultural practices. The OJA, Mahindra's lightweight tractor platform, was developed in partnership with Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery, Japan, with an investment of USD 145 million.
- February 2024: John Deere and GUSS Automation introduced Electric GUSS, the world's first and only fully electric autonomous herbicide orchard sprayer, at the 2024 World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. Electric GUSS incorporates a spot spraying weed detection system that identifies chlorophyll in weeds, spraying only where detection occurs. This technology significantly reduces the overall application amount, leading to material savings of up to 90%, depending on weed pressure.
- August 2023: The Massey Ferguson launched 500R Series Sprayer in North America at the 2023 Farm Progress Show. The sprayer features two models namely the MF 525R with a 740-gallon capacity and 212 HP, and the MF 530R with an 860-gallon capacity and 235 HP.
- June 2023: Ecorobotix launched the precision sprayer, ARA, in North America. Using AI technology and its unique ultra-high precision spraying system, ARA can recognize individual plants, classify them in real-time and spray the weeds with a precision of 2.4x2.4in without affecting surrounding crops or soil.
