- October 2022: CyrusOne announced that they proposed a new data center in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, UK. The site will have 10 data halls supporting around 90MW of capacity and the project would include a new on-site substation.
- August 2022: Coltannounced to open a new data center in Hayes, West London, that would more than triple its existing footprint in the UK capital. It will deliver a new purpose-built of 50MW in 2.1-hectare data center campus known as 'London 4'.
- March 2022: Kao Data announced plans for a second building for its Harlow campus in the UK. The company says construction is now underway on its second 10 MW facility outside London.

- February 2024: Equinix Inc. decided to invest USD 390 million in Africa over the next five years. The investment will focus on constructing new data centers and bolstering its existing operations, primarily in South Africa and the western regions of the continent.
- January 2023: Africa Data Centres, a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies, a prominent pan-African technology conglomerate, revealed plans for its second data center in Cape Town. Positioned in the northern region of the city, this new facility is set to accommodate an IT load of 20 MW. With construction already in progress, the center is slated for completion and operational status by 2024.

- September 2024: ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., a container liner shipping company, announced that it has entered into a new long-term operational cooperation with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) on the Asia - US East Coast and Asia - US Gulf trades. The new services are scheduled to be launched in February 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and filings. The company’s offering includes shipping container sales and leasing, container modification, depot services and container transportation services. The current ContainerCo fleet includes 12 Kalmar empty container handlers.

- March 2023: LiquidStack announced a significant investment from HVAC company Trane Technologies to propel immersion cooling technology to new heights. LiquidStack's proprietary liquid immersion cooling technology represents a leap in sustainable data center cooling. These immersion cooling solutions align seamlessly with the company's ambitious sustainability goals, including a commitment to reduce carbon emissions within its customer base by a staggering 1 billion tons by 2030 and the ultimate achievement of net-zero emissions by 2050. - August 2023: Singtel, in collaboration with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), initiated the construction of a cutting-edge data center in Singapore. Dubbed DC Tuas, this eight-story facility, upon its scheduled completion in 2025, will boast an impressive 58 MW of IT load capacity spread over 120,000 sq. ft. The data center will seamlessly integrate with Singtel's cable landing station (CLS).
- March 2023: Megawide Construction Corporation signed an agreement with a Singapore-based group to build a data center worth USD 300 million to support the pivoting of digital infrastructure in the country. The project involves the long-term development of a 69 MW colocation data center, resulting in opportunities for the vendors in the market.
- May 2024: ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) broadened its presence in Vietnam by acquiring a data center in Ho Chi Minh City and preparing for a second facility. Teaming up with VNG Corporation, a local technology firm, STT GDC unveiled plans for the "development, construction, and operation of data center projects" in Ho Chi Minh City. The first of these projects, situated in Tan Thuan, 1.5 km away, is slated for completion by the first half of 2026, boasting a capacity of up to 60 MW.
