- January 2023: Catalent announced that it had signed a development and license agreement with Ethicann Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Canadian/American specialty pharmaceutical company specializing in creating high-value cannabinoid drug therapies using Zydisorally disintegrating tablet (ODT) technology to advance Ethicann's clinical drug pipeline. Per the agreement, Catalent would use its Zydis technology to develop pharmaceutical products containing cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) for Ethicann's use in clinical trials for various conditions.
- March 2023: Biose Industria, a renowned leader in Live Biotech Process Development and Production (LBP), announced the opening of its new facility in Boston, Massachusetts. After Biose Industries' phenomenal success in developing and producing LBP processes and manufacturing worldwide, Biose's new facility will further strengthen its relationship with the US market.
- July 2023: Recipharm Opens New Analytical Laboratory in Bangalore, India, to Increase Global Testing Capabilities for Nitrosamines, Extractables, Leachables, and Elemental Impurity Testing. 5,000 Sq Ft. Laboratory will support Recipharm's existing analytical capacity to support biotech and pharma customers in the Research and Development of Oral Solids, Drug Delivery, Inhalation, Vaccine, and Injectables with Full cGMP Compliance.

- August 2023 - PakTech opened a contract manufacturing facility in Victoria and a proprietary partnership with Visy, having experienced organic growth in Australia. PakTech forged a strategic partnership with Visy to align with PakTech's vision, i.e., products made and recycled in Australia and then repurposed into new offerings within the country. The establishment of this facility not only caters to the rising demand but also positions PakTech to support Australia's food, beverage, and consumer goods industries in meeting escalating ESG standards and the surging consumer appetite for eco-friendly practices.

- March 2023: Samsung Biologics, a key CDMO company, announced the development of a fifth facility as part of the company's strategic growth plan to meet the growing demands in the market. The company planned to invest KRW 1.9 trillion (USD 1.44 billion) in the new plant and start construction during the first half of 2022, with the goal of starting operations in 2025.
May 2024: Tide Rock, a US-based buyout firm, announced the acquisition of Premier Packaging LLC, a contract packaging company. The acquisition will likely enhance Tide Rock's customer base as it will leverage Premier's contract packaging capabilities and help take its services to the next level in the North American market.
February 2024: WePack, an independent contract packing company, partnered with software provider Nulogy to digitalize its contract packing operations. The digitalization effort intends to enhance visibility and traceability over inventory and materials and improve forecasting, labor capacity, line efficiency, and quality control. The implementation at WePack's East Midlands, United Kingdom, production site was expected to be completed by Q2 2024.

FAMAR is a leading provider of development and manufacturing services for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products (CDMO) and one of the major CDMO players in Europe. Lavipharm is a research and development (R&D) company that manufactures, imports, sells, and distributes pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in Greece.
- January 2024 - Pluri, an Israeli biotechnology company, announced the launch of a new business division, “pluriCDMO," that will provide cell therapy manufacturing services as contract development and production organizations." The new division includes a 47,000-ft2 good manufacturing practice (GMP) cell therapy production facility.
- October 2023 - IQVIA announced a strategic collaboration with Argenx to advance the treatment of patients with rare autoimmune diseases through innovative and integrated technology-enabled pharmacovigilance (PV) safety services and solutions.
- October 2023: Zwipe partnered with Schneider Electric's Security Solutions Group. Schneider Electric plans to introduce the Zwipe Access fingerprint-scanning smart card to its clientele. This card will be integrated with Schneider Electric's Continuum and Security Expert platforms, serving a client base from airports, transportation, healthcare, data centers, and more.

- February 2024: In collaboration with Brau Union Österreich, Vetropack Group, a prominent glass packaging manufacturer in Europe, unveiled a new 0.33-litre returnable bottle. This bottle, designed as a standard solution for the brewing industry, boasts a one-third lighter weight than traditional reusable bottles. This weight reduction is attributed to Vetropack's innovative Echovai production process.
- October 2024: Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), a division of Ardagh Group, has expanded its American-made bottle portfolio with a new 500ml Celebration bottle in flint (clear) glass. This addition complements the 500ml Celebration bottle in amber (brown) glass, part of AGP-North America's beer and beverage bottle collection. The new flint glass bottles, designed and manufactured in the United States, are packaged in plain craft cardboard cases with partition dividers, each containing 12 bottles.
- July 2024: Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), a business unit of Ardagh Group, has expanded its American-made bottle offerings with a new series of craft beverage containers. The new 12oz glass bottles are emerald green, flint, and amber. AGP-North America designs and produces these 100% recyclable glass bottles domestically.
- August 2024: Beatson Clark, a glass manufacturer based in the UK, launched an in-house decoration service. This new facility enables Beatson Clark to spray glass packaging in any color, achieving stunning effects like opaque, frosted, glitter, vignette, and pearlescent. Located in Rotherham, UK, this container glass producer provides a versatile service, decorating not only its own bottles and jars but also customer-provided glass containers, depending on their suitability.
- August 2024: Verallia UK, committed to sustainable innovation, unveiled ECOVA, a premium spirit bottle standard of sustainable off-the-shelf glass packaging. The name ECOVA, merging 'ecology' and 'value', underscores the range's sustainability focus. Featuring four new designs, Patet, Caeli, Vita, and Terra, each weighing 500g, the innovative design boosts the average pallet capacity by 200 bottles. This enhancement minimizes shipping packaging for UK customers. The creation of the ECOVA range was driven by the goal of lightening bottle weight, thereby curbing carbon emissions for both Verallia UK and its clients.
