- May 2023: The Malaysian textile industry should collaborate with manufacturers from China to transform local textile production processes and systems through digitalization and automation in order to boost productivity and increase revenue, said the Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association (MTMA).
- March 2022: Toray Industries, Inc. unveiled Toyoflon, a low-friction polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a property to resist friction and be used in high-strength textiles. According to Toray studies, the slide's durability is 25 times greater than its current counterparts, and friction has decreased by more than 50%. Due to its performance advantages, increased surface pressure, and ability to be smaller and lighter, the new textile is expected to witness a rise in adoption.

Under this contract, Eckert & Ziegler will act as the European contract manufacturing organization (CMO) for Telix's ProstACT GLOBAL Phase III study. The contract ensures the supply for the entire European patient base from Eckert & Ziegler's state-of-the-art facility in Berlin. Eckert & Ziegler will supply the essential starting material: their high-purity, non-carrier-added GMP-grade Lutetium-177 (Lu-177).

The automated waste collection system has transported approximately 240,775 tonnes of waste so far. The system has improved urban planning and management by eliminating heavy-duty collection vehicles and bulky waste storage containers on the streets. From an environmental perspective, it prevents approximately eight tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

- October 2022 - Nykaa enters the Gulf nations through its first global partnership with Apparel Group. The Apparel Group of Dubai will hold 45% of the company's shares, while Nykaa will control 55% of the partnership's shares. The Indian cosmetics and clothing store Nykaa recently announced a partnership with the Apparel Group, a fashion and lifestyle retailer with headquarters in Dubai, to expand its presence in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) nations.

- June 2024: Waste Management Inc. and Stericycle confirmed a definitive agreement, with Waste Management acquiring all outstanding shares of Stericycle at USD 62.00 per share in cash. This deal, totaling approximately USD 7.2 billion, accounts for Stericycle's net debt of around USD 1.4 billion. With this acquisition, Waste Management is expected to broaden its environmental solutions portfolio by incorporating Stericycle's prominent assets in the lucrative medical waste and secure information destruction industries.

- September 2023: In order to secure the supply of End-of-life mattress foams, Evonik entered into an agreement with Remondis Group, one of the world's most prominent recyclers. As Evonik develops its chemical recycling process to the next level, this cooperation would be beneficial for it. In the production of new mattresses, it is possible to recover core components of polyurethane foam and use them as premium-quality block-building materials with Evonik's innovative material and hydrolysis technology. The recycling process is currently being tested at a pilot plant in Hanau and will be tested at a larger demonstration plant in the future.
