- October 2023: Gualapack announced the expansion of its operations in its facilities at the Zona Franca Industrial Trade Zone located in Cartago Province. With an operating history of ten years in Costa Rica, the company produces prefabricated pouches/bags with spouts. The group added processes to its developing operations, specifically with the manufacture of machinery, to facilitate new product-filling activities, thereby increasing its presence in the Latin American market.
- October 2023: PAC Worldwide opened a new full-service flexible packaging facility in Mexico, expanding its capabilities in Central America. The new, larger 83,000ft² factory is set to produce a variety of poly products and solutions, including Mailjacket and Polyjacket mailers, roll films, security bags, and pouches.
