In April 2023, Amcor PLC announced that the Amcor Flexibles manufacturing plant in Brazil was the first plant in Latin America to achieve International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) status. The certification allows Amcor's largest plant in Latin America to use advanced recycling materials across its product portfolio.
