- February 2023: Univar Solutions Inc. secured exclusive distribution rights for Automate's oil-based dyes and authorized distribution rights for water-based dyes. These agreements cater specifically to customers in lubricants and metalworking fluids across the United States and Canada. This new agreement enhances Univar Solutions' specialty ingredients portfolio, offering products designed for diverse applications in lubricant, oil, grease, and fuel coloration.
- September 2022: Bozzler Energy Pvt Ltd announced that the company would be showcasing its new designs of Thermic Fluid Heaters at the Boiler India 2022 exhibition organized by Orangebeak Technologies, which was to be held at CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai. The new designs are expected to be highly suitable for environmental health and eco-friendly.
- August 2022: Shell lubricants announced that the company will launch Electric Vehicle battery coolants (heat transfer fluids) in India, after being attracted by the country's electric vehicle play. As stated, the company will initially import electric vehicle thermic fluids, but manufacture the product locally later in the country.
- June 2022: ExxonMobil plans to upgrade its residual production into higher-value lubricant base stocks and cleaner fuels as part of its Singapore Resid Upgrade Project. The oil major is expected to add about 20,000 barrels per day of light, heavy, and extra-heavy lubricant base stocks when it completes upgrades at its Singapore integrated refining and petrochemical complex in 2025.
- March 2022: Motul expanded its presence all around the globe. The company launched a new, state-of-the-art Motul regional warehouse in Singapore, the Motul Asia Hub. The 700,000 sq ft facility support and enhances Motul's supply chain across the Asia-Pacific region by consolidating warehousing and inventory operations.
- April 2022: Fuchs Petrolub SE, a joint venture in Vietnam, purchased land to build a finished lubricant factory in the country. The company bought a 20,000-square-meter plot and planned to invest EUR 8 million (USD 8.6 million) to build the plant.
