  • August 2022: Hanwha Techwin, a global supplier of intelligent video surveillance solutions, launched a significantly updated version of its WisenetWAVE Video Management Software (VMS) in response to the changing needs of security professionals and system integrators. Version 5.0 expands the platform's focus on cybersecurity, system usability, convenience, and interactivity. It features advanced object search, metadata-driven active backup, webpage proxy via servers, two-factor authentication (2FA), resource grouping, audio mapping, etc.
  • April 2022: The Telangana State Police Department formed the Telangana Public Safety Society. Through this society, which is registered under the Societies Act, the department seeks to raise funds for installing and maintaining CCTV cameras throughout the state.

  • May 2023 - The EY company announced that EY OpsChain ESG is now usable in beta form on the EY Blockchain SaaS platform. The new solution, created on the Ethereum blockchain, would give businesses that find it difficult to precisely measure and manage their carbon footprint a single, verified picture of CO2 emissions (CO2e). Through tokenization, it will also give customers, business partners, and regulators the transparency required to trace emissions and carbon credits throughout an ecosystem.
  • April 2022 - Newrl, a blockchain for decentralized finance, has introduced tokenized-based equity alternatives for unlisted firms. This is the first Web3 innovation for ESOP solutions for entrepreneurs in India. The platform will make startup stock a more liquid asset class by enabling the tokenization of equity to create ESOPs, raise money, and enhance governance through smart contracts.
  • February 2024 - Nervos CKB partnered with OneKey Wallet, creating a co-branded hardware wallet. Following the integration, users will be able to switch to the CKB mainnet within the OneKey Wallet for on-chain transfers. Additionally, users will be able to experience the CKB DApp ecosystem in the future. As the number of individuals using cryptocurrency increases, the demand for secure storage solutions also grows.
  • January 2024 - SafePal launched a limited edition USDC hardware wallet. The limited collection of customized Bluetooth open-source X1 hardware wallets have the same features as the standard model (including support for various networks and tokens).
  • October 2023 - Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. announced a new facial recognition technology jointly developed by Panasonic Connect, Panasonic R&D Center Singapore (Singapore Research Institute), and NTU Singapore (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), effectively improving the precision of facial recognition with non-Caucasians and women, which has been an industry-wide issue due to the smaller data sets that have traditionally been available for familiarizing facial recognition models.
  • September 2022: CyberLink Corporation, an AI and facial recognition technology, integrated its AI facial recognition engine, FaceMe, into MediaTek’s new AIoT platform, Genio.   • August 2023 - Smiths Detection, the leader in threat detection and screening technology, today announces that it has launched the SDX 100100 DV series, comprising two dual-view X-ray scanners. X-ray technology scanners provide a horizontal and vertical view of the screened object, facilitating reliable inspections of tightly packed objects and shortening inspection times. 
  • March 2023: OSI Systems, Inc.'s Security division announced that it had received an order worth approximately USD 20 million from ANA Aeroportos de Portugal for multiple units of its RTT 110 (Real Time Tomography) explosive detection system. The explosive detection system units will be installed at airports throughout Portugal to screen passengers' checked baggage. The company has also been contracted to provide ongoing maintenance, service, and support for these installations.
  • February 2023: Smiths Detection Inc. announced that it had been awarded a contract to supply New Zealand's Aviation Security Service (AvSec) with advanced checkpoint security technology for its five major international airports in Christchurch, Queenstown, Dunedin, Wellington, and Auckland. The company will provide 35 HI-SCAN 6040CTiX CT X-ray machines and an iLane.evo smart automatic tray return system, and the iCMORE Weapons algorithm.
  • January 2022 - Princeton Identity (PI) and Emphor Trading Abu Dhabi, a division of ScreenCheck and a subsidiary of The Centena Group, formed a new biometrics partnership. According to the partnership, Emphor Trading will offer PI's entire portfolio of iris and face biometric security solutions to its customers as part of the partnership and tailored integrations to suit specific security and operational demands.
  • November 2022 - NEC Corporation has begun full-scale promotion of its latest multimodal biometric authentication solution, which serves as the flagship of its "Bio-IDiom" biometric authentication brand (*1). This is the first solution to combine NEC's face recognition and iris recognition, both of which have been named the world's best by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) (*2). NEC began selling this solution in Japan, and will be available in global markets in the spring of 2023.
  • March 2023: In Axis Communications and Genetec Inc. partnered to launch Axis, an enterprise-level access control solution that combines Genetec access control software and Axis network door controllers in a single, easy-to-deploy package. This solution is the first of its kind on the market and utilizes Genetec technology to provide unified security, public safety, operations, and business intelligence solutions.
  • February 2023: Air Canada announced a new digital facial recognition pilot program for selected flights between Vancouver and Winnipeg, as well as for qualified customers at the Air Canada Café at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline claims to be the first in Canada to offer this technology to its customers. The program aims to streamline the boarding process, reduce wait times, and increase efficiency.
