The installations are planned over 24 months in 2024 and 2025 to improve the screening of passengers at Switzerland’s busiest airport. The next-generation, high-performance Bruker DE-tector flex systems will replace earlier explosive trace detectors at Zuerich Airport. First-generation Bruker ETD detectors have already been deployed at Geneva Airport in Switzerland. The new DE-tector flex systems are certified by ECAC (European Civil Aviation Conference) and utilize a non-radioactive ionization source.
