• January 2024: Forescout announced the availability of the Forescout eyeInspect integration with ServiceNow. • June 2024: SentinelOne, a global provider of AI-powered security, announced the launch of Singularity Cloud Workload Security for Serverless Containers, a new offering that provides real-time, AI-powered protection to secure containerized workloads running on AWS Fargate for Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS. The company is committed to delivering major innovations through simple integrations that enable customers to improve their security outcomes.
• March 2024: CrowdStrike signed an agreement to acquire Flow Security, a provider of data security posture management (DSPM) and cloud data runtime security solutions. With this acquisition, CrowdStrike is expected to set the standard for modern cloud security with complete real-time data protection spanning endpoints and environments, delivering the only cloud data protection platform that secures data at rest and in motion. This growing reliance on the cloud has led to the dispersion of data across multiple cloud-based services and third-party APIs.
• January 2024: SonicWall, an international provider of cybersecurity, acquired Banyan Security, a key company specializing in Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions tailored for today’s workforce. As cybersecurity priorities transition toward more agile solutions suitable for the constantly changing threat environment in the era of cloud technology, the industry is increasingly emphasizing the importance of adopting broader and more adaptable strategies. These strategies encompass SSE and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), which are essential in the context of cloud computing and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) advancements.
• January 2024: SentinelOne acquired PingSafe, enhancing its security offerings with PingSafe’s specialized Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). This addition is anticipated to enhance SentinelOne’s existing cloud workload and data security features, offering businesses a unified platform that promotes improved protection, maintenance, and automation throughout their cloud environments. The incorporation of PingSafe’s CNAPP into the SentinelOne Singularity Platform represented a significant transformation in the approach to cloud security.

• March 2024: Radware, one of the leading providers of application delivery and cyber security solutions, introduced a new evolution of its  Radware Bot Manager, equipped with AI-based protections. • February 2024: Akamai Technologies announced the availability of Content Protector, a product that stops scraping attacks without blocking the good traffic companies need to enhance their business. Akamai Content Protector helps identify and mitigate evasive scrapers that steal content for malicious purposes. It monitors the user's journey through the website. Botnets target specific content, resulting in significantly different behavior than legitimate traffic.
• June 2023: The Government of India provided free botnet detection and removal tools as part of its ‘Cyber Swachhta Kendra,’ also known as the Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre. The Digital India initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) focuses on creating secure cyberspace by identifying botnet infections in India and supporting people in cleaning and securing affected systems.

• September 2024: Aqua Security announced the launch of VEX Hub, a vendor-neutral repository for VEX (Vulnerability Exploitability eXchange). • June 2024 - Essener Systemhaus (ESH) has awarded a tendered project to USU for providing and implementing a software asset management (SAM) tool. The USU SAM solution is anticipated to function as subscription-based software hosted in ESH's data center in Essen.

• June 2024: Arkansas State University's Doha location received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission. This accreditation allows students to pursue select degree programs offered by A-State at this off-campus site. A-State partnered with Qatar's Global Studies Institute (GSI), building on approvals from the Arkansas State University System Board of Trustees and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. This strategic move is set to bolster Check Point’s Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and broaden its managed threat intelligence services.
