CoStar will be acquiring Matterport in the deal, which values each share at USD 5.50. This translates to an equity valuation of around USD 2.1 billion and an enterprise value of approximately USD 1.6 billion, based on CoStar's closing stock price on April 19, 2024. The transaction is expected to increase the development and deployment of Matterport's advanced AI and digital twin technology.
