Some of the calcium compounds mostly used as an anti-caking agent, that are recognized as GRAS include calcium ferrocyanide, calcium phosphate (i.e. bone phosphate), calcium silicate, and calcium aluminosilicate. Calcium silicate (CaSiO3), a common anti-caking agent that is added to table salt, etc. adsorbs both water and oil. Although they are food additives, they have other applications too.
